Approving and Reauthorizing the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority to Enter a Grant Agreement With New Mexico Environment Department for the Ground Water Monitoring Well Construction Project

WHEREAS, the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (Water
Authority) was awarded a reauthorized grant for ground water monitoring well
construction and is required to enter into a Grant Agreement with the State of New
Mexico Environment Department in order to receive the proceeds of the grant; and
WHEREAS, the Grant Agreement for this purpose is identified as SAP 24‐I4010‐
STBR Grant Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATER AUTHORITY:
Section 1. The Executive Director is authorized to sign the Agreement for this project and act as a single point of contact concerning all matters related to the Grant Agreement.
Section 2. The Executive Director is the OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE who is authorized to sign reimbursement requests and any and all other documents requiring a signature for submittal to the New Mexico Environment Department.
Section 3. New Mexico Environment Department funds in the amount of $25,000 are hereby reauthorized to the ground water monitoring well construction project.
