Approving and Reauthorizing the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority to Enter a Grant Agreement with New Mexico Environment Department Appropriation for the Kirtland Air Force Base Ground Water Monitoring Well Construction Project

WHEREAS, the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (Water
Authority) was awarded a reauthorized grant for continuation of ground water
monitoring well construction and is required to enter into a Grant Agreement with the
State of New Mexico Environment Department in order to receive the proceeds of the
grant; and
WHEREAS, the Grant Agreement for this purpose is identified as the SAP
24‐I4009 Grant Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATER AUTHORITY:
Section 1. The Executive Director is authorized to sign the SAP 24‐I4009 Grant Agreement for this project and act as the point of contact concerning all matters related to this Agreement.
Section 2. The Executive Director is the OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE who is authorized to sign reimbursement requests and any and all other documents requiring a signature for submittal to the New Mexico Environment Department.
Section 3. New Mexico Environment Department funds in the amount of $33,479.61 are hereby reauthorized to the Kirtland Air Force Based Ground Water Monitoring Well Construction Project.
