Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Inventory Certification

In accordance with 2.2.2.10(W)(2) New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC), the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (Water Authority) shall conduct an annual physical inventory of movable equipment on the inventory list at the end of each fiscal year in accordance with the requirements of The Audit Act (12-6-10 NMSA 1978). According to Section 12-6-10 NMSA 1978, upon completion of the physical inventory count, the inventory shall be certified by the governing authority to verify correctness of the results.

FISCAL IMPACT: 

None.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends the Water Authority Board certify for verification purposes the Fiscal Year 2023 physical inventory counts.
