Authorizing the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority to Submit an Application for Funding to the New Mexico Environment Department Clean Water State Revolving Fund for the Reuse Pipeline Extension to Winrock

WHEREAS, the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (Water Authority) is seeking New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) funding for the Reuse Pipeline Extension to Winrock; and
WHEREAS, the Reuse Pipeline Extension to Winrock Project will provide reuse water for irrigation and a water feature within the Winrock development area; and
WHEREAS, the Reuse Pipeline Extension to Winrock Project will provide reuse water for irrigation areas along the pipeline alignment; and
WHEREAS, the funding request for Winrock Project will be $5 million from NMED CWSRF funding.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATER AUTHORITY:
Section 1. That an application for funding for the Winrock Project, be submitted to the New Mexico Environment Department Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
Section 2. That the Executive Director shall have the authority to enter into an agreement associated with the financial assistance.
Section 3. That the Executive Director will work with the NMED CWSRF to meet established deadlines for entering into a cooperative agreement.
