Amendment to the Approved Capital Implementation Program of the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2025

WHEREAS, the Capital Implementation Program is governed by the requirements established under Section 2-1-8, 2006, which provides for amendments to the approved program; and
WHEREAS, appropriations for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2025 that were previously approved under R-24-10 and R-24-11 require an amendment to add funding utilizing American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) award funding under a subrecipient agreement with Bernalillo County; and
WHEREAS, the Bernalillo County approved the Fifth Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding that adjusts the total ARPA subaward to the Water Authority to sixty-three million eight hundred sixty-seven thousand five hundred ninety-seven dollars and sixty-one cents ($63,867,597.61); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Fifth Amendment, Bernalillo County is dedicating the surplus of funding in the amount of four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) from the I-21 Carnuel Water System Expansion project be allowed to be used by the Subrecipient under this Amendment; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Fifth Amendment, Bernalillo County is dedicating additional ARPA funding in the amount of five hundred and seventy-seven thousand nine hundred thirty-eight dollars and sixty-one cents ($577,938.61) which is being appropriated by this resolution for Carnuel Sewage Collection System.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATER AUTHORITY:
Section 1. That the adjustments for the Bernalillo County ARPA projects as stated below are hereby made.
