Approving Price Agreement with EMA Inc. for Maximo Managed Professional & Other Services as a result of P2024000002

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority issued a Request for Proposals (RFP), P2024000007, Maximo Managed Professional & Other Services, to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to enter into a price agreement for managed professional and other related services for our current Maximo inventory and asset management system.
The RFP was posted on the BidSync website and advertised in the local newspaper. Three (3) responses were received and submitted for evaluation. The Ad Hoc Committee reviewed, evaluated, and scored the responses in accordance with the evaluation criteria published in the RFP.
Listed are the respondents' average composite scores. No Offeror qualified for small and/or local, NM Resident, Veteran, or Native American preferences, thus none were applied. The largest total composite score possible without preferences applied is 1000.

The Committee recommends awarding the price agreement to EMA Inc. as they have the highest average composite score, are qualified to perform the work, and capable to meet the Water Authority's needs.
Resolution R-18-14 requires board approval for any purchase in an amount exceeding $500,000.
The Water Authority's Financial and Business Services Division is recommending funding for this new price agreement cap to allow for the purchase of this service throughout the contract term. The estimated expenditures under this price agreement is expected to exceed $500,000; however, actual expenses will be incurred as services are provided.
