Approval for Purchase of 2023 Vactor Mounted Freightliner via Pete’s Equipment Repair, Inc.

The Water Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (Water Authority) is requesting approval for the purchase of a 2023 Vactor unit mounted on a 2024 Freightliner for use by our Water Reclamation Collection group.

This vehicle will be utilized to help reduce Sanitary Sewer Overflows by performing routine and emergency maintenance on Water Authority managed sewer lines. This will also help the Water Authority meet our requirements of the NPDES.

FISCAL IMPACT:

$643,878.53. The Water Authority has budgeted funds to cover this agreement.

Approval of this item shall also serve as delegation of authority for the Executive Director to approve all future amendments to this contract, if any.
