Approving increase of Price Agreement Contract BP001448 - US Peroxide LLC
b
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is added to the Collection System and at the SWRP to reduce odors and corrosion in both systems. The H2O2 regenerates ferrous sulfide to an iron ion that can then reduce the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in the sewage. H2O2 regeneration is very cost effective and is pH neutral, easing the achievement of the pH required by the NPDES Permit for effluent discharged to the Rio Grande.
