RESOLUTION

Approving and Authorizing the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority to Enter into a Grant Agreement with New Mexico Environment Department for the Carnuel Wastewater System Extension Construction Project and Appropriating the Grant Funds

WHEREAS, the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (“Water

Authority”) was awarded a grant for Carnuel wastewater system extension and is required to enter into a Grant Agreement with the State of New Mexico Environment Department in order to receive the proceeds of the grant; and 

WHEREAS, the Grant Agreement for this purpose is identified as the SAP 25J2355GF Grant Agreement.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATER AUTHORITY:

Section 1.  The Executive Director is authorized to sign the SAP 25J2355GF Grant Agreement for this project and act as the point of contact concerning all matters related to this Agreement.

Section 2.  The Executive Director is the OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE who is authorized to sign reimbursement requests and any and all other documents requiring a signature for submittal to the New Mexico Environment Department.

Section 3.  The budget adjustment for the Carnuel wastewater system extension is made and appropriated as follows:

                     State Capital Outlay Projects (Expense)                     100,000

                     State Grants (Revenue)                                          100,000
