SUMMARY:  
This four-year contract will provide in-class water resource education for approximately 600 K-12 classrooms, and full-day field trips to the Rio Grande Nature Center and the Rio Grande for approximately 60 classes of fourth graders.
 
The Ad Hoc committee included Sharon Sivinski (Education Coordinator), Katherine Yuhas (Water Conservation Officer), David Morris (Public Affairs Manager), and Thomas Courtin (Senior Buyer, Purchasing). The committee met on May 22nd and unanimously recommended award of contract to the sole bidder, Essential Environmental & Educational ().
 
 
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of this contract is $147,180 annually and is budgeted in the Water Resources Contractual Services.
