The Water Authority solicited proposals to pre-qualify multiple contractors to perform emergency/on-call construction services as well as capital construction projects requiring installation, rehabilitation, repair and/or replacement of small diameter sewer lines (12” and smaller), manhole replacement or rehabilitation, bypass pumping and other related work.
The RFQ was posted on the Water Authority’s website and advertised in the local newspaper. Five responses were received.
The responses were reviewed, evaluated and scored by an ad hoc committee consisting of Anthony L. Montoya, Jr., P.E., Chief Engineer, John Ertsgaard, P.E., Principal Engineer, Robert W. Strong, P.E., Principal Engineer, John Gabaldon, P.E., Senior Engineer, and Kris Johnson, P.E., Senior Engineer.
The ad hoc committee recommends award of contracts to the following three evaluated offerors: AUI, Inc., RMCI, Inc., and TLC Plumbing & Utility.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding to support this contract is appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016.
