Rescinding Floor Amendment No. One to R-17-9 Appropriating Funds for Operating the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority for Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2017 and Ending June 30, 2018

WHEREAS, at the May 17, 2017 administrative meeting of the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority governing board (“Water Authority board”), Floor Amendment No. One to R-17-9 (“Appropriating Funds for Operating the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2017 and Ending June 30, 2018) was duly passed on a vote of 3-2; and
WHEREAS, Floor Amendment No. One, as passed, stated, “On page 3, line 3, insert the following:
“Section 6. Based on the savings in power and chemicals, supplemental fluoride will be added to achieve the national guideline established by the Centers for Disease Control and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency.”; and
WHEREAS, the Water Authority board, having subsequently taken up the issue of supplemental fluoride in R-17-15, deems it appropriate to rescind Floor Amendment No. One to R-17-9;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATER AUTHORITY:
Section 1. Floor Amendment No. One to R-17-9 be and hereby is rescinded and deemed to be of no effect.
