Approving Contract with Oxbo International for a Self-contained Universal Spreader

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (Water Authority) issued the Request for Bids (RFB) to solicit responses from qualified vendors to provide a Self-Contained Universal Spreader, B2019000007.
Approval is requested to enter into an agreement with Oxbo International to provide a Self-Propelled Universal Spreader through the issuance of a purchase order. If approved by the Board, a purchase order will be issued by the Water Authority to enable Oxbo International to deliver a new Oxbo 5105 DNMS model self-propelled applicator/spreader.
The self-contained spreader will be used to spread and till biosolids from the Southside Water Reclamation Plant. This equipment is necessary for the continued operations of spreading anaerobically digested and dewatered sludge.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$639,509.00 excluding NM GRT for FY19, for which appropriations have already been made.
