Increase to Contract with Hoffman Southwest Corp. dba Professional Pipe Services for Small Diameter Sanitary Sewer Line Inspections

An increase to the purchase order (CE000676) with Hoffman Southwest Corp. for small diameter sanitary sewer line inspections is requested. The is to complete remaining inspections for FY21 and inspections for FY22. These sanitary sewer line inspections fulfill the Water Authority’s Capacity Management Operations and Maintenance plan commitment to inspect 5% of its small diameter lines during FY21 & FY22.
This product was procured pursuant to the authority contained in section 9(a)(5) of the Rules Governing Procurement for The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority. Resolution R-18-14 requires board approval for any purchase in an amount exceeding $500,000.
If approved by the Board, the purchase order will be amended to include the increase. An amended PO will be issued by the Water Authority to enable Vendor to continue to provide small diameter sanitary sewer line inspections. Approval of this item shall also serve as delegation of authority for the Executive Director to approve all future amendments to this contract, if any.
FISCAL IMPACT:
All amounts have already been appropriated in the FY21 budget. Any additional increase to the contract that exceeds 20% of the amounts previously approved shall require additional approval.
